Mongolian woman awarded ‘Officer’ insignia of international civil defence

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Colonel Ch.Ariunaa, head of the External Cooperation, Department of Policy, Coordination and Cooperation, National Emergency Management Agency, was awarded with ‘Officer’ insignia of the International Order of Civil Defence under the decision of International Civil Defence Organization’s Secretariat.
The insignia was presented by Ch.Ariunaa by Major-General T.Badral, Chief of NEMA. Colonel Ch.Ariunaa became the first officer of the NEMA to get awarded with ‘Officer’ insignia of ICDO.
Mongolia joined the ICDO in 1992 as an observer and in 2002 as a member state.
