Mongolia receives 1000 more 2019-nCoV test kits from Japan

Ulaanbaaatar /MONTSAME/ On February 10, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Japan D.Batjargal visited the the Influenza Virus Research Center of Japan’s National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) in Musashimurayama, Tokyo and received 1,000 novel coronavirus test kits being provided for Mongolia through the World Health Organization.


Director of the NIID Influenza Virus Research Center Hideki Hasegawa noted the center is double checking the results of the coronavirus tests performed in Mongolia and provided the latest updates on the coronavirus situation in Japan.


Expressing his deepest gratitude to the center’s staff for being the first to promptly deliver test kits to Mongolia and now supplying the second batch, Ambassador D.Batjargal said he is pleased that bilateral relations and cooperation have been deepening in every field including health care and that mutual trust has been deepening further between the people of the two countries.
