Operative team works in Zamyn-Uud border checkpoint

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An operative team of the State Emergency Commission headed by First Deputy Head of the National Emergency Management Agency, Brigadier General G.Ariunbuyan worked in Zamyn-Uud border checkpoint in Zamyn-Uud soum of Dornogobi aimag.
Regarding with the visit of the working group, Emergency Commission of the soum convened and provided information on ongoing measures for preventing and combating novel coronavirus infection and pressing issues.
Passengers, crossing the state border through Zamyn-Uud border checkpoint are filling border entry form (arrival card) and passengers’ information is being promptly sent to Emergency Commission of the soum, Border Professional Inspection and Control Service, Police Department and General Hospital of the aimag. Moreover, permanent examination and disinfection works are being carried out in service providing organizations.
Authorities of the Emergency Commission of the soum requested to tackle pressing issues on creating reserve of hand sanitizer, face mask, gloves and protective clothing and equipment that are necessary for officers who are executing duties and supplying up-to-date termocamera and other equipment.
The working group promised to convey the issues and resolve them in a short period and assigned the soum Emergency Commission to give overtime pay to the officers.
