Mongolians in South Korea send over 10 thousand face masks

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the initiation of facebook group ‘Let’s run and walk together’, a campaign named ‘10.000 face masks from the Republic of Korea’ has been organized by youths working and living in South Korea.
Within the campaign, the youths collected and sent 10.040 face masks in total from January 28 to February 3. About it, member of the facebook group S.Amgalan said that we launched the campaign to prevent Mongolians from 2019-nCoV spread, which has been detected in some countries. Mongolians in the Republic of Korea actively participated in the campaign. And we completed distributing the face masks to the people, who are working in risky condition including physicians, reporters, teachers, policemen, service workers and citizens working in offices, markets and trade centers. We are expressing our gratitude to MIAT Mongolian Airlines and staffs of the Buyant Ukhaa customs office on transporting the face masks free of charge and passing them without any barrier.
