Customs administration works to promptly pass face masks through border checkpoints

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia has been taking preventive measures regarding 2019-nCoV spread. As face masks have been in high demand recently, the Customs General Administration is striving to promptly bring in the face masks and other protective equipment, sent to aid coronavirus prevention efforts. A large number of face masks sent by Mongolians living abroad have been stuck at the border due to unpaid customs charges.
Medical
face masks are being imported with a special license from the Ministry of
Health in accordance with 15.1 of the Law on Medicine and Medical Devices and
regular face masks with no special license.
