State Central First Hospital opens clinical research and training center

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Renovation works of emergency unit, clinical research and training center and meeting hall of the State Central First Hospital have been completed, creating convenient environment for providing assistance and services to citizens.
“Thanks to the
renovation, serving capacity of emergency ward increases two times. It enables
citizens to receive complex services such as diagnosis, examination, gastroscopy
and abdominal ultrasound in one location. In addition, family members of patients
now have comfortable waiting room. Furthermore, we are focusing attention on
not to cause delay to customers and all the services centralized in one
location,” said T.Munkhsaikhan, Director of the State Central First Hospital.
The State Central
First Hospital also serves as a university hospital where medical
students, physicians and specialists conduct practices. Therefore a clinical
research and training center has been commissioned at the hospital to support development
of students and trainees. The training center provides all needs for trainees
including library, training rooms, online center, restroom and changing room.
Minister of Health D.Sarangerel got acquainted with the renovation works. She said that the State Central First Hospital set up the first ever international-standard clinical research and training center in Mongolia. Post-graduate training is one of the biggest issues exist in the health sector. Aside from skillful physicians, working environment and condition should be well to create possibility for physicians to work at professional level.
