Ulaanbaatar
/MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Environment and Tourism is working to find investments to raise infrastructure and services of rural airports, specifically make six rural airports obtain international status. The amount of necessary investments and its role in regional development and benefits to airlines have been studied and proposals are to be made to the World Bank, Japan International Cooperation Agency, and international donor organizations.
It is
expected that the launch of international flights in rural areas will expand
tourism in the region, increase the number of tourists and international flight
