CO detectors to be installed within January 10

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to a Government decision to distribute carbon monoxide detectors to 220.000 households living in ger area, officials reported that they will receive the first 50.000 CO detectors at the end of 2019.
The CO detectors will be installed in households within January 10 and its instructions will be delivered to citizens. The Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar city is in charge of providing households with CO detectors and Deputy Governor of the capital city J.Batbayasgalan said "We established an agreement with the side of China on purchasing CO detectors. Since there is no standard for CO detector in Mongolia, we contacted with a foreign factory that manufactures CO detector that satisfies international standard. A working group led by Head of the Governor’s Office is collaborating with the manufacturer through a representative of the Governor’s Office of the Capital City in China."
