Mongolia to partner with Russia in science and higher education sector

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Yo.Baatarbileg held a meeting with Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russian Federation Mikhail Mikhailovich Kotyukov on November 21. The sides discussed partnership in the sector of higher education and science during the meeting.
They discussed matters, such as presenting the diploma appendix of Mongolian students graduating from Russian universities as according to the Bologna Declaration, solving some of the pressing issues of Mongolian students during their study as well as mutually studying establishment of a joint university as suggested by the side of Russia, and bringing it to realization.
During the meeting, initiatives being made on the implementation of a joint regional project for scientific institutions of Mongolia, Russia, and China on history, culture, and archeology were also informed.
Minister M.M. Kotyukov agreed to accelerate the sector's cooperation, and further study the suggestions put forth from the side of Mongolia.
