PM U.Khurelsukh pays courtesy call on the first President of Kazakhstan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the course of his official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh paid a courtesy call on Nursultan Abishuly Nazarbayev, the first President and the Chairman of the Security Council of Kazakhstan.


Congratulating on rapid development of Kazakhstan with raised reputation not only in the region also international arena and strengthening their position, PM U.Khurelsukh noted the national projects ‘Kazakhstan-2050’, ‘Nurly Zol (The Bright Road)- path to the future’ initiated by the first President N.A.Nazarbayev have been successfully realizing.


Underlining that the sides need to take substantial actions to increase bilateral trade turnover, Mr. N.A.Nazarbayev recalled his meeting with President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga during the Meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization that took place in Qingdao, China in 2018. He also stressed that 120000 Kazakh people in Mongolia play vital role in developing relations between Mongolia and Kazakhstan. 


PM U.Khurelsukh cited that matters discussed during the above-mentioned meeting have been put into actions. In particular, direct flight in route Ulaanbaatar-Nur-Sultan was opened from June this year. Moreover, the PM expressed his delight with backing up an issue on opening flight in route Ulaanbaatar-Almaty during his official talks with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan A.U.Mamin.


In turn, the first President of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbayev expressed the Mongolian Premier’s visit, which is being made after 25 years, would give an impetus to develop bilateral relations and highlighted the importance of regularizing high-level reciprocal visits.
