Governor S.Amarsaikhan meets Vice Chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region of China

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Governor of the Capital City S.Amarsaikhan met with Vice Chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region of China Meng Xiaolin on September 24. At the meeting, the parties exchanged opinions on development of further bilateral relations and cooperation, especially, opportunities to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism and economy.
“Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Mongolia and China has been broadening in all areas. This year marks 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and 380th anniversary of foundation of Ulaanbaatar city. In frames of it, number of productive events to expand bilateral cooperation are being organized. I consider that Tibet Autonomous Region would play important role in development of bilateral ties and cooperation in the future,” Governor S.Amarsaikhan said.
Vice Chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region Meng Xiaolin noted that Tibetan cultural delegation arrived
in Ulaanbaatar city, where they successfully held series of Tibetan cultural
events. “We realized there are plenty of opportunities to expand further
collaboration.”
At the end of the meeting, Governor S.Amarsaikhan pleasantly accepted an invitation to pay an official visit to Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
