200 children treated thanks to partnership in jaw and face disorder studies

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In the framework of the partnership between the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital of Taiwan, and the Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation, free surgeries were provided for 24 children with cleft lip and palate. Since the joint project kicked off in 2010, over 200 children have been treated.
Alongside training Mongolian surgeons in using new technology, the team of doctors shared their many years of experience, contributing to the enhancement of cleft lip and palate surgery as well as patient care.
