Training department for intensive care for mothers and infants opens in Khovd aimag

/MONTSAME/. In the framework of the project, ‘Introducing new technologies in
management of mother and child health care’, being jointly implemented by the
Ministry of Health, UNFPA and the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a
training department of intensive care for mothers and infants was opened at the
Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Khovd aimag on June 27.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives led by UNFPA Assistant Representative Ms. Iliza Azei, aimag authorities, and representatives of the regional hospital.
During the ceremony, over 10 types of equipment and devices for training worth about MNT 40 million were presented.
With the training department, the doctors and medical specialists at the Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center will be able to build their capacity and teamwork skills, and share experiences with others.
