Medical equipment presented to Umnugobi Regional Diagnostic Treatment Center

Umnugobi /MONTSAME/. In the frameworks of the joint UN Programme,‘Integrated Support Programme for Women and Young People’s Health in Umnugobi’, being implemented by UNFPA, WHO, UNICEF in partnership with the Government of Mongolia and the Government of Australia as well as the Gobi Oyu Development Support Fund, about 60 equipment of 16 types worth over MNT 106 million, were presented to the Umnugobi Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center.



Head of UNFPA Office in Mongolia Kaori Ishikawa also held a meeting with the aimag authorities to discuss the programme. Medical checkups are to take place in 10 soums of the Umnugobi aimag during the course of the programme in 2019.
