Cooperation agreement signed with Russian Ministry of Sport

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Ts.Tsogzolmaa met with her Russian counterpart P.A.Kolobkov during her visit to the Russian Federation. The sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation.
Minister Ts.Tsogzolmaa highlighted the role of sports in the friendly relations between Mongolia and Russia and expressed willingness to intensify the relations in sports field at the intergovernmental and sport association levels.
The quota for Russian Government Scholarship is 500 per year. Minister proposed to distribute 20 quotas in the sports specialist programs and train coach, sports physician, psychologist, skier, figure skater, short tracker, basketball, volleyball and football coaches.
Moreover, the parties agreed to actively cooperate in the organization of the ‘Children of Asia Games 2020’ to be held in Mongolia and making the Silk Way Rally pass through Mongolia.
Minister Ts.Tsogzolmaa and Minister of Sport of Russia P.A.Kolobkov signed a Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministries. The parties noted that the two countries have not established cooperation documents in the sports sector over the past 16 years.
