Japanese Heart Saving Project NGO works in Gobi-Altai aimag

Gobi-Altai /MONTSAME/ Pediatric heart specialists from Heart Saving Project NGO of Japan worked in Gobi-Altai aimag on August 9-10.
 
On August 10, the specialists examined and diagnosed children born with congenital heart disease.
 
Since 2001, Heart Saving Project NGO has been diagnosing children with congenital heart defect free of charge. It is their second time visit in Gobi-Altai aimag since their first arrival in 2009.
 
This time, they registered a total of 76 in the first turn including children with congenital heart defects and heart defects, those who are under doctor’s care and children in need of receiving diagnosis. After making check-ups, those children who are in serious conditions will receive heart operations at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH).
