Organizing committee for Naadam festival meets
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The organizing committee for the Naadam festival dedicated to the 2225th anniversary of the Mongolian Statehood, the 810th anniversary of the Great Mongolian Empire and the 95th anniversary of the People’s Revolution held Tuesday its regular meeting at the State House.
The meeting reviewed the festival budget, Naadam opening and closing ceremonies, reconstruction of the central stadium and parking lots in the Khui Doloon Khudag, and horse-race venue.
A State Prize holder and producer of the Academic Theatre of Drama N.Naranbaatar has been entitled to direct and stage the opening and closing ceremonies, while the state ceremonial concert will be directed by G.Tsogtgerel, head of the Academic Ensemble of National Songs and Dance. As for the horse-race venue which is in Khui Doloon Khudag site, the parking areas will be created for some 7,300 cars.
Deputy Premier Ts.Oyunbaatar who heads the committee tasked corresponding officials to ensure the preparation works, to control reconstruction of the central stadium and to pay attention to the security matters for the events.
Any events and sport competitions will not be available on the horse-race venue until the national festival.
