Maternity house moves to new building in aimag
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Within a working tour to Dornod aimag, the Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg Thursday got acquainted with new buildings of the aimag’s center of diagnosis and medical treatment and of maternity house.
The regional diagnosis and treatment center was established in 2001 based on staffers and materials of the aimag’s general hospital, while the maternity house got a new building this year. The construction of annex continued in 2013-2015 with a support of 2,774 billion Togrog allotted from the state budget. Now the center needs extra medical equipment and apparatus, so the Ministry of Health and Sport has resolved a financing of MNT 143 million for the medical equipment.
Expanded with 50 beds, the maternity house has units of reception, hospitalization and surgery, and has been equipped with a conference hall and a gym room, said D.Doljin, head of the diagnosis and medical center.
