モンゴル銀行、WBと共同発表 ここ2年間で30万人近くが貧困層入り
　国家統計委員会と世界銀行が17日に公開した共同調査の結果で、ここ2年間で30万人近いモンゴル国民が貧困層に入ったことがわかった。 　両機関は2002年以降、世帯あたりの収支状況および生活水準についての調査を行い、貧困指標の策定などについて協力してきた。今回、2016年の調査結果に基づき、世帯および社会の貧困度が明らかになった。

大阪大学グローバルイニシアティブ・センター　思沁夫 　モンゴル国ウブルハンガイ県には、中部ゴビ県、南ゴビ県を またぐ全長437kmのオンギー川 が流れている。オンギー川は南 ゴビ地域に到達する希少な川で あり、地域の生態環境、遊牧生 活を支えているが、異常気象や 鉱山開発などによって汚染、断 流し、深刻な環境問題に直面し ていた。

ハイキングを通して築く「助け合いの関係」
9月16日（土）、モンゴル帰国留学生JUGAMO会とモンゴル日本人会の共催で、EverydayFarm, Gobi Resortにて「JUGAMOハイキング」が実施された。第13回目となる今回は、日・モ外交樹立45周年を記念して実施され、高岡正人駐モンゴル日本国特命全権大使も参加した。約80名の参加者らは、大自然に囲まれ充実した1日を過ごた。

IVNMC、29学校に“陶芸教室”を寄贈、陶芸家金子さん、芸術大学で名誉教授に
5日、モンゴル子供支援国際ボランティアネットワーク（IVNMC）の日本代表・江口喜多枝さんと、同モンゴル代 表・ナムスライさんが、ウランバートル29学校（聾唖の子供を教育）に、“陶芸教室”を寄贈するというプロジェクトの寄贈式典を行った。去る5月、同会は世界的な陶芸家金子晴彦さんを伴い、同校で体験陶芸教室を行った。

ウランバートル市の国立大学私立大学を郊外移転
UB市内の交通渋滞緩和に向けた作業部会の会議は8月31日に開催された。この会議でソンドイ・バトボルドUB市長はゲレンピル・チョローンバートル教育・文化・科学・スポーツ大臣に対して市内交通事情の緩和に向けた要請を行った。それは「国立及び私立大学の郊外移転」に向けた調査実施である。現在ウランバートル市に国・私立あわせて96校の大学があり、15万人が通学する。

教員の臨時委員会 政府対応で抗議エスカレートの可能性も
11日、小中高学校の教員による「臨時賃上げ要求委員会」の代表らと全国各県教員代表らが、「ライブ・プレス・カンファレンス」報道センターで記者会見を開き、政府に対する要求とそれに応じない場合に取るべき措置を明らかにした。彼らは、回答期限が15日に迫ったとした上で、もし賃上げしない場合は次の行動に出ると政府との対決を仄めかした。

モンゴルの博物館紹介
モンゴル国立博物館 　 　モンゴルの原始石器時代か ら今日までの歴史を旅するこ の博物館の展示物は5万点もあ る。1924年に設立された博物 館は9つのホールから形成され る。歴史的期間は以下の通りで ある。先史時代のモンゴル（BC 80万～BC3000年）、古代国（BC 3世紀の～AC12世紀）、モン ゴルの伝統的な衣類・装飾品（匈奴時代からモンゴル帝国/12 ～14世紀の始まりまでの期間）、モンゴルの伝統文化、伝統的 な国内産業、モンゴルの17～20世紀の始まり、社会主義時代の モンゴル（1921～1990年）、民主化移行のモンゴル（1990年か ら現在まで）。 場所：政府庁舎の西側、スフバートル区 営業時間（冬）：火曜日から土曜日9時〜16時30分（10月1日～5月15日） 　　　　（夏）：毎日8時〜22時（5月15日～9月15日）

モンゴルでは母乳育児が減少、母乳育児への協力を呼びかけ
　毎年8月1～7日、世界170カ国で「母乳育児週間」取り組みがスタートした。今年モンゴルではこの週間を「共 に母乳育児をサポートせよ」というスローガンの下で保健省と国家社会保健センター、ウランバートル市保健局、国連ユニセフの協力で取り組みを実施している。

国際ボーイスカウトキャンプに7500人が参加
　国際子どもナイラムダル センターでアジア太平洋地 域第31回ジェンボリ・キャ ンプが行われている。世界 40ヶ国から約2000名、モン ゴル国内21県、9つの区か ら約4000名のスカウトの子 どもたち、ボランティアス タッフ合わせて7500名が集 う一大イベントだ。キャン プは7月27日から一週間の 予定で続けられる。

外国人に対し、常に旅券携帯を呼びかけ
　外国人・国籍問題管理局 は外国人に向けて次の注意 を呼びかけている。注意に は「監査により、外国人が 身元に旅券及びそれを代替 する証明書を持参していな いことが判明すれば、外国 人の法的地位法に従い最低賃金の3分の1に相当する罰 金を科し、国家検査官の決 定で6時間、裁判所決定では 14日間、違反解決まで拘置 措置を取る」という。

筑波大学准教授（看護学・高齢者ケア学）橋爪祐美さん： 働く女性の老親看護・介護の問題を研究、モンゴル家族から学ぶものは？
　高齢化が進む日本で、働く女性の親の看護・介護における様々な問題を研究している筑波大学准教授の橋爪祐美さんが、5月2日から1週間、研究のため初めてモンゴルを訪れた。モンゴル国立医科大学や附属看護大学、あるいは一般女性と接する中で、日本とモンゴルの違いを探り、今後の研究につなげたいと意欲を語ってくれた。

かつての江戸－現在の東京 (2) 視察紀行
東京で耳にした政治家：安部首相＆小池都知事 安倍晋三は現代の日本のみならず世界的な政治家として目立った存在。そういうことで日本国民は同氏を信じており、首相になってからの支持率は50％以下になっておらず、常に60％台を維持していた（※当時）。昨月、総理夫人と関係する土地売の噂が広まったが、まもなく収まった。 　総理公邸はモンゴルの大使館から500メートル離れたところにある。安部首相はその公邸（2.26事件で殺害された当時の政治家や憲兵隊員の幽霊がいると噂されている）には、ほぼ住んでおらず、本人宅に住んでいるという。4世帯が住むその住宅には安部首相が夫人と共に住むほか、母親、弟（外務副大臣）、親戚と一緒に住んでいる。政治家一族である首相の母方の祖父はかつての日本の総理、父親は外務大臣、母親は自由民主党の創設者の一員だった。
