来月、2018年の9月17日に、モンゴル・日本ビジネス・フォーラムがシャングリ・ラ・ウラーンバトルにて開催される。政府や国際機関主催のフォーラムが多数行われてきた中、今回のフォーラムの特色は、民間セクターで活躍する帰国留学生らが主催者であることと、モンゴルの経済や市場に関する情報を日本語で発信するMONNICHI.todayデジタル・ハブの新設に因んだこと。

タワントルゴイ鉄道、公社設立を閣議決定
　政府は8日、タワントルゴイ鉄道公社の設立を閣議決定 し、基本資産の2分の1以上を出資する方針を固めた。 また、政府は、タワントルゴイ鉄道公社に対してタワントルゴイ炭鉱～ガショーンソ ハイト国境検問所間の鉄道敷設事業に関する5年間の営業 許可、エルデネス・タワントルゴイ公社に対して当該敷設事業に必要とされる資金を石炭の先物取引での調達をそれぞれ認めた。

財務省、6月の債務返済高、7533億トゥグルグ
　政府は今年度内、およそ２兆6000億トゥグルグの元本償還と約１兆2000億トゥグルグの利子支払いを合わせ、およそ３兆８000億トゥグルグの債務履行をせねばならない。政府が債務返済計画上、最も支払い負担が大きいと言われた６月の約7533億トゥグルグに対して完全履行した、と6月29日、記者会見に臨んだCh.フレルバータル財務相が語った。
