Mongolia-India student exchange program kicks off
 Mongolia and the Republic of India are to implement a student exchange program for the first time with the Indian Ambassador’s support and 21 students and three teachers from Mongolia will be studying at the Cambridge International School in Phagwara, India between January 12 and 26.

The International Mongolian Studies Symposium Vienna ‘Dispersed and Connected Mobilities, Materialities and Belonging(s) in Mongolia and Beyond’ will take place at the Weltmuseum Wien in Vienna, Austria from January 23 to 24, 2020.

Nationwide population and housing census to launch January 9
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. By law, Mongolia conducts a population and housing census once every 10 years for the complete count of the entire population of Mongolia, with the next one is beginning nationwide at 8 AM, January 9 to continue until January 15.

Liquor license of 14 factories revoked on breach of regulations
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Based on the conclusion by the Specialized Inspection Department and Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, the Cabinet today agreed to revoke liquor licenses of 14 alcoholic beverage factories.

Intensive care unit and children’s ward fully restored
