Cabinet meeting news in brief
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Following decisions were made at the Cabinet meeting held today, January 8:
- ‘Mongolian Oil Refinery’ state-owned company to be extended with a subsidiary company that is responsible for ensuring fuel supply to the new airport. Agreements will be established with foreign investors that have willingness to partner with the subsidiary company for making investment and supplying products.
- Crop Farming Support Fund is merged to Agriculture Promotion Fund.
- The
Cabinet defined incentive amount for wheat supplied to domestic flour
factories, Crop Farming Support Fund and government reserve. Specifically, I
class wheat will receive incentive of MNT 100 thousand per ton, II class MNT 80
thousand, III class MNT 60 thousand and IV class MNT 55 thousand.
- Government Agency for Policy Coordination on State Property has been tasked to conduct state counting and examination of state and local properties as of December 31, 2019 and present results of the counting to the Cabinet.
- State counting has been conducted on items of movable historical and cultural heritage. According to the counting, archeological findings make up 7 percent, natural history objects 13 percent and ethnographical items 16 percent nationwide. It is considered necessary further to enrich with artifacts, support archaeological research team at the national level and increase financing for purchase of items.
- The Cabinet
adopted a list of immovable historical and cultural heritage to be taken in
state protection. It will play important role in conserving and safeguarding
their original state and safety, increasing significance and value as well
as boosting tourism. A total of 182 items are included in the list.
