Government presents 23 measures to be taken amid COVID-19 pandemic
At today’s regular meeting of the Cabinet, a resolution with 23 measures to be taken in prevention of COVID-19 pandemic was approved and Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh presented the measures reflected in the resolution as follows:

At 5 p.m., Head of the Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases A.Ambaselmaa provided updates on the latest coronavirus test results.

Additional restriction on movement in Ulaanbaatar announced
Starting November 18, Wednesday, service hours of public transport in Ulaanbaatar have been limited, to operate from 07 AM until 10 AM as well as between 5 PM and 8 PM, and all nonessential transport and movement of people is prohibited outside of the allotted time.

One COVID-19 case reported in Darkhan-Uul aimag
The State Emergency Commission reported press today that one new COVID-19 case was confirmed in Darkhan-Uul aimag; thus, it has decided to increase police and law enforcement agencies' capacity in the northern aimags of Mongolia.

At today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health, it was reported that three people have tested positive for COVID-19 after the laboratories nationwide carried out a total of 1762 tests yesterday.

Khentii aimag goes into lockdown after detection of suspected COVID-19 cases
The Emergency Department of Khentii aimag made a decision to restrict movements and close all service centers in the aimag after COVID-19 tests of 2 people who arrived from Ulaanbaatar city came out positive.

At the press briefing of the Ministry of Health held at 11 AM today, Head of Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases A.Ambaselmaa reported that three new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded after 1,818 tests were carried out nationwide on November 15.

Prime Minister gives orders to government officials
After the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh gave the following orders to Cabinet members, state administrative officials, and aimag and capital city governors.

Period of strict-lockdown extended until December 1
At its irregular meeting held today, the Cabinet backed the proposal made by the State Emergency Commission to extend the heightened state of readiness for disaster protection or strict-lockdown by 14 days, approving a resolution.

The Ministry of Health today reported three laboratories of the National Center for Communicable Diseases tested 820 samples, resulted in the detection of three confirmed COVID-19 cases, including a four-year old child, whose repeated test result was reported yesterday evening.
