COVID-19: 38 new cases reported, total jumps to 887

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At a regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health, Head of Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) A.Ambaselmaa reported that 38 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Mongolia after 23,341 tests performed nationwide yesterday.


Of the 38 new cases, 32 have been recorded in Ulaanbaatar city, two in Selenge aimag, three in Dornogobi aimag and one in Orkhon aimag. No new infections recorded in Darkhan-Uul, Gobisumber and Arkhangai aimags in the past 24 hours.


Therefore, Mongolia now has a total of 887 cases of COVID-19, with 384 recoveries. Currently, 494 people are being treated at the National Center for Communicable Diseases and Central Military Hospital.
