COVID-19: 12 new cases reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. 12 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Mongolia after 19689 tests performed nationwide yesterday, December 3, reports Head of Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) A.Ambaselmaa. Specifically:


-Seven people in Ulaanbaatar tested positive for the virus, of which two of them were NCCD staff;


-Of the four cases detected in Selenge aimag, three of them were close contacts of those diagnosed with the virus, while one of them detected from a hospital staff;


-One person in Darkhan-Uul aimag tested positive for the virus;


As of today, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia reached 831, with 365 recoveries. Currently, there are 457 people who are infected with the virus are receiving treatments at the NCCD and the CMH.
