Surveillance testing running at 69 percent
SocietyUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The capital city’s Emergency
Commission is conducting surveillance testing of COVID-19 in the prevention of
the risk of coronavirus outbreak.
The surveillance testing targets to involve more than 70,000
Ulaanbaatar residents from the virus-affected khoroos /the smallest
administrative unit/ and khoroos, evaluated as highly risky, of the nine districts of
Ulaanbaatar city.
As of yesterday, December 7, the testing involved 69 percent of the planned or 48,346 people. Large family members, people who engage in mobile work, people who work in the service sector, and people living in large numbers in the same yard or apartment are being selected for the surveillance testing.
