COVID-19: 7 new cases recorded in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At today’s regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health, it was reported that 7 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Mongolia after testing 14,019 people nationwide within the past 24 hours.
Head of Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) A.Ambaselmaa reported that four new cases have been recorded in Selenge aimag and three new cases in Dornogobi aimag. No new infections were recorded in Darkhan-Uul, Orkhon, Gobisumber, and Arkhangai aimags.
As of today, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia has reached 849, with 384 recoveries. 456 people are being treated at the NCCD, Military Central Hospital and general hospital of Selenge aimag. 2 of them are in very critical, 4 are in critical, 68 are in serious and 382 are in mild health condition.
