On May 30 and 31, Mongolian citizen voters residing in foreign countries cast their ballot for the Mongolian presidential election ahead of the polling day inside the country.

“Mongolia officially reopens its borders”
At the cabinet’s meeting dated June 1, it was informed that Mongolia officials opened its borders starting from June 1. This will allow Mongolian citizens to travel to more than 10 countries whose borders are currently open to foreign passengers, including Turkey, U.S., United Arab Emirates, Greece, Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, Egypt and India.

Mongolian Armed Forces awarded the Order of Chinggis Khaan
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the modern Mongolian Armed Forces, which is being commemorated this year, President of Mongolia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Battulga Khaltmaa has issued a decree to award the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Mongolia with the Order of Chinggis Khaan - the highest state decoration of Mongolia.

891 new COVID-19 cases reported, total reaches 57,512
Daily COVID-19 press briefing for today, May 30, by the Ministry of Health, reported that 891 new coronavirus cases were detected after more than 7,800 PCR tests were performed nationwide in the past 24 hours.  As a result, the nationwide infection tally is now 57,512, with the cases registered in the capital city grown to 50,976.
