Czech Investments in Mongolia Total USD 25.1 Million

Ulaanbaatar, October 20, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Major development projects are being implemented in Ulaanbaatar to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution and create a comfortable living environment for the citizens.

 

In this context, business representatives led by Radek Jakubsky, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic, were received by the Chief Architect of the capital city, Ulaanbaatar, Tugsdelger Chinbat, and other officials to meet and exchange views on cooperation.

 

When Ulaanbaatar city presented a brief introduction of the 24 mega-projects for development, Radek Jakubsky, Vice President of the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic, stated, “We appreciate the efforts of all those who are actively working to develop the capital city. As the progress, feasibility studies, and research of the projects are promising, we would be pleased to cooperate in making these major projects with high social and economic benefits a reality.”

 

The Chief Architect of the capital, Tugsdelger Chinbat, requested cooperation and an exchange of experience with the Czech Republic on the 24 mega-projects for Ulaanbaatar’s development, especially infrastructure projects such as the metro and tram. Aleš Krtička, the founder and COO of ‘Atelier Tsunami’, an architecture and construction company in the Czech Republic, highlighted his company’s 33 years of experience operating in both domestic and international markets.

 

Mongolia has expanded its business and economic cooperation with the Czech Republic, and Czech-owned and joint venture companies have made a total of USD 25.1 million in direct investment since 1993.
