UB citizens welcome New Year at central square

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the eve of the New Year, an evening show titled ‘Silver night of Ulaanbaatar’ was organized at Sukhbaatar square, as usual. The show started at 5 pm with the play of latest songs of world-known artists, followed by Mongolia’s best DJ performances.
After that, the show was continued with more performances, including a
special children’s play and musical by the artists of the State Academic
Theatre of Opera and Ballet and students of the State University of Arts and
Culture, ‘Skillful Khas’ waltz performance, choral performance, and a laser
show.
The event was also featured with renowned rock and pop groups,
singers, and musicians of Mongolia.
On the moment of the New Year coming, S.Amarsaikhan, Governor of the
capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, extended New Year greetings to the
gathered and all Ulaanbaatar citizens.
Following the event, public transport companies served with
free buses from Sukhbaatar square to 18 directions.
