Programme of Action (VPoA) for Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) for the
decade 2014-2024 was held on December 5-6 in New York within the framework of the
74th General Assembly of the United Nations.

constraints, emerging challenges and opportunities, as well as
finding ways to further accelerate its implementation in the remaining five
years.
During
the event, the member states adopted the inter-governmentally agreed draft
political declaration, which reflected provisions towards protection of Landlocked
Developing Countries’ (LLDCs’) interests and appeals to take actual measures to
accelerate the VPoA implementation.

meeting, S.Sukhbold, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the
United Nations, delivered a speech, introducing policy and measures being taken
by Mongolian government within the framework of the VPoA and calling for participants
to render support to the operations of the International Think Tank for Landlocked
Developing Countries and for LLDCs to join multi-partial agreement on the
establishment of the ITTLLDCs.

Trade Organization, emphasized Mr.Sukhbold, expressing willingness to cooperate
with LLDCs on this matter.
