Training on capacity building of tourism workforce running

The Ministry of Environment and Tourism in partnership with Korea Tourism
Organization (KTO) is implementing a project ‘Strengthening the Capability of
the Mongolian Tourism Workforce’ in 2019-2020.
Within the
project, a training session is taking place on November 11-22 through six
directions as room service, hospitality, problem solving, hotel management,
organization of banquets and guides, with involvement of 120 participants in
total. It is a systematized training that meets international standards to
train hospitality personnel of tourism sector and give them professional
education.
Under the
project, South Korean tourism and hospitality professionals will also work in
Mongolia in 2020-2025 for the capacity building of the sector’s workforce.
The
project is greatly significant to implement the National Tourism Development Program
passed by the Government and will make a remarkable contribution to the
development of Mongolia’s tourism industry.
