R.Battogtokh to receive medal from Japan

Mongolian national R.Battogtokh will be presented with the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, in recognition of his contribution to promoting mutual understanding between Japan and Mongolia and Japanese language education in Mongolia.
Government of Japan released the list of foreign nationals who are to receive the order in recognition of their efforts in promoting ties with Japan or making contributions to Japan on November 3.
Mr.
R.Battogtokh has served as translator/interpreter for the Gobi Cashmere Factory
Construction project implemented with Japan’s first official development assistance
for Mongolia in 1977 and later taught Japanese at the National University of
Mongolia and Ikh Mongol University.
