Deputy Chief of NEMA attending Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Colonel B.Uuganbayar, Deputy Chief of the National Emergency Management Agency, is attending the Disaster Response Exercise and Exchange (DREE) Bangladesh, taking place in Dhaka, Bangladesh between October 26 and November 2.

B.Uuganbayar reported about Mongolia’s earthquake risk reduction measures.
With the theme ‘Resilience
through preparedness’, the DREE is the largest earthquake disaster related
exercise in the Asia Pacific region and aims to enhance earthquake disaster management
of Bangladesh and improve regional cooperation for disaster response as a whole.
More than 500 participants
from 237 different organizations are participating in DREE Bangladesh 2019.
Moreover, over 100 participants from more than 20 countries are also joining
this exercise.
