State Secretary D.Davaasuren addresses Int’l Cooperation Forum

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Delegation led by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended the Second Himalayan Regional Forum, which was held under the Belt and Road international cooperation initiative on October 14-15 in Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Countries such as Mongolia, China, Pakistan, Nepal and Myanmar took part in the event and a meeting of heads of countries’ delegation was held on October 14.
Head of Mongolian delegation, State Secretary D.Davaasuren addressed the meeting. Noting that Mongolia considers ‘Belt and Road’ international cooperation initiative as a new form of modern cooperation, he said Mongolia has willingness to actively take part in the international cooperation and make its contribution in regional and global development. "The initiative and its actions are significant to development and flourishing of the countries that locate along ‘Belt and Road’ and I hope that it will not only increase mutual understanding and create cooperation space but also bring significant influence to global peace, sustainability and prosperity."
