Products of scientific works displayed at exhibition

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. An
exhibition ‘Science, technology and innovation-2019’ opened today ahead of ‘First State Congress of Scientific Workers’ being held under the
auspice of Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh.
In the opening of the exhibition, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Yo.Baatarbileg, President of Mongolian Academy of Sciences D.Regdel, authorities of institutes and universities under the MAS and others laid a wreath to the monument for academician B.Shirendev.
In his opening speech,
Minister Yo.Baatarbileg noted that the ministry attaches an importance to
develop legal environment of scientific sector and increasing investment and
financing. Mentioning that the government will define priorities of the
innovation, the Minister pledged to promote startup companies.
New types of innovation
products and knowledge and favorable condition for putting them into economic circulation, they will give impetus to foster and expand
startup companies under the scientific institutes and universities, he stressed.
The exhibition is displaying about 350 works and products of 45 organizations including state-owned and non-state academic institutes, universities, companies and startup companies. For instance, the products include air quality alarm, every-day health monitoring device, herbal mouthwash, technology to produce some parts of excavator.
Moreover, health products made by scientists of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of MAS such as ointment with wood tar, sheep tail oil with wood tar, hair treatment cream, bath salt are on display. Startup companies of the institute are introducing dried whey, whey bath ball, detergent, animal fodders and water purifier.
The exhibition will be open tomorrow.
