Deputy Speaker L.Enkh-Amgalan meets Member of Japanese House of Representatives Ichiro Aisawa

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Speaker of the Parliament L.Enkh-Amgalan today received Member of the House of Representatives of Japan and Deputy Head of Japan-Mongolia parliamentary group Ichiro Aisawa on his request.
Mr. Ichiro Aisawa said that he has willingness to more actively cooperate in directions of expanding and developing bilateral ties at parliamentary level as deputy speakers of the parliaments of the two countries and underlined how Mongolian sumo wrestlers are making success in sumo wrestling in addition to expressing his confidence that Mongolian athletes would show success at Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.
Parliamentary Deputy Speaker and Deputy Head of Mongolia-Japan parliamentary group L.Enkh-Amgalan said "Your visit will contribute to deepen bilateral relations more" and wished him a pleasant stay in Mongolia.
“Thanks to measures taken by the Mongolian Government within Extended Fund Facility Program of the International Monetary Fund, economy has been revived in a short period, bringing positive results. Japan is the largest financier of the program. Long-term, soft loans being granted by the Government of Japan are playing pivotal role in Mongolian economy,” he added.
Furthermore, the Deputy Speaker expressed his gratitude for the concession agreement on Ulaanbaatar International New Airport Management Project and successfully implementing ‘1000 engineers’ program and building and commissioning Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital.
The sides mutually shared views on planning and implementing various events in frames of the 45th anniversary of cultural relations between the two countries and noted the high importance of relations between prefectures and provinces of the two countries apart from inter-parliamentary and intergovernmental relations and cooperation.
