Training on reducing disaster risks takes place

Orkhon /MONTSAME/. In partnership with the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, the National Emergency Management Agency organized a training for representatives of professional organizations of nine aimags in Orkhon aimag.During the training, they discussed the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and measures being taken as well as about topics such as ‘Creating safe, disaster-resilient cities’ and ‘Assessing disaster risk’.
Officials noted the importance of regularly informing all citizens and changing their attitude about disasters alongside disaster plans and preparation in order to avoid disaster risks.
