Foreign Minister meets with Head of Japan-Mongolia Economic Committee

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar received delegates led by Head of Japan-Mongolia Economic Committee Kh.Tsubai on August 29.
Congratulating Mr. Kh.Tsubai on his appointment as Head of Japan-Mongolia Economic
Committee, Minister D.Tsogtbaatar expressed his confidence that the committee
would more actively work for advancing the level of Mongolia-Japan trade and
economic cooperation.
The parties pointed out that there is necessity to cooperate
for strengthening and deepening ties between bilateral private sectors
and developing mutually beneficial economic partnership based on high
political trust.
Minister
D.Tsogtbaatar said that the Government of Mongolia has been taking policy for increasing non-mining exports and expressed its willingness to draw Japanese
investment more to introduce advanced technologies in Mongolia and to raise
export capacity.
Mr. Kh.Tsubai pledged to pay attention on deepening bilateral trade and economic cooperation in above-mentioned directions and in information technology sector.
