Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. From July 16 to August 25, summer camps in Mongolia received a total of 42 children from Russia's flood-hit towns of the Irkutsk Oblast, Nizhneudinsk and Tulun. On August 25, the children returned home after staying at the Nairamdal international summer camp and Selenge camp of the Erdenet Mining Corporation for more than a month.
Following the President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga’s call to help the victims of the flooding in the Siberian Region, the United Alumni Council of Mongolia (UACM) organized the campaign to receive children from the flood-stricken regions, offering them emotional support. In addition, individuals and companies in Mongolia and government and nongovernmental organizations provided the people affected by the disaster in the northern neighbor of Mongolia with necessary supplies.
