Polar Star Order presented to Japanese national

Ulaanbaatar
/MONTSAME/ President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga issued an order to award Japanese
national Ayumi Konishi the Polar Star Order of Mongolia in recognition of his
contributions to developing economic partnership between Mongolia and the Asian
Development Bank.
The prize
was awarded by Chief of the Office of the President of Mongolia Z.Enkhbold today,
on August 19.
Special
Senior Advisor to the ADB President Mr. Ayumi Konishi has worked on projects on
Mongolia’s economic reform since 1991. He had the ADB country partnership
strategy for Mongolia 2017–2020 approved and made significant contributions to creating
conditions for addressing major development issues encountered by Mongolia in
the face of economic difficulties and ensuring macroeconomic stability through
development of a diversified economy with sustainable and inclusive growth.
