Sub-project for youth running in Uvurkhangai aimag

Uvurkhangai /MONTSAME/. Within the framework of the Mainstreaming Social Accountability in Mongolia Project jointly funded by the Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development and the World Bank, Uvurkhangai aimag's health department and 'Optimal Development' NGO have started co-implementing a sub-project ‘Youth-Bright Future’.
In partnership with the Mongolian Family Welfare Association, a training of reproductive health counselors was conducted in Arvaikheer city on June 8-9. Representatives of government and non-governmental organizations, school doctors and social workers participated in the training, receiving certificates. Information about reproductive health and STDs are to be given to teenagers and youth aged 15-39 through the counselors.
