Birth rate decreases in February

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In February 2019, 5796 mothers delivered 5824 babies (live births), decreased by 160 mothers (2.7 percent) and 177 live births (2.9 percent) compared to the previous month.
In February 2019, 80 cases of infant mortality were
recorded, decreased by 32 cases (28.6 percent) and 91 cases of under–five mortality
were recorded, decreased by 48 cases (34.5 percent) compared to the previous month.
In February 2019, infant mortality rate per 1000 live births were 14, decreased by 5 and under-five mortality rate per 1000 live birth were 16, decreased by 7 compared to the previous month.
