Cabinet meeting in brief
SocietyUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Today’s
Cabinet meeting discussed the following issues.
- Deputy Minister of
Construction and Urban Development Sh.Lkhamsuren and chairman of Government
Agency for Policy Coordination on State Property were dismissed from their
positions.
- A
bill to amend the law on legal status of Industrial and Technology Park was
backed and decided to submit to the Parliament. In accordance with the law, adopted in 2009, the
Government issued the special permit to five businesses, but their operations are just at an early stage and have not attracted investment.
-To spend 2018-2019 winter
and spring with no loss of livestock, the Cabinet gave a duty to provinces and
districts to build their hay and fodder reserves. Moreover, it assigned
corresponding authorities to take actions, including to ensure preparedness, carry
out mobile checkups and give medical service for herders who are having
transhumance in areas that are probable to affect harsh winter, and take
preventive measures.
-The Cabinet decided to
allocate required money from the budget of Minister of Labor and Social Protection for
dwelling homeless and wandering people in the temporary accommodation, helping
them socialized, raising their self-confidence and providing
citizenship documents. According to the first half of this year, 1375 people were
recorded to be homeless and wandering, of whom 1083 are men and 276 are women.
-The Cabinet backed a draft intergovernmental
agreement between Mongolia and Czech Republic on return of unauthorized immigrants.
There are 7814 Mongolians living and working in the Czech Republic under
official permit.
