Ulaanbaatar Economic Forum to be held in February

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Public and private entities are to gather at Ulaanbaatar Economic Forum, which will be held on February 7, discussing investment, construction and development of Ulaanbaatar city. Executive Director of Ulaanbaatar Development Corporation J.Bilegsaikhan, President of Ulaanbaatar city Chamber of Commerce D.Gankhuyag and other corresponding officials reported about the forum today.
The Ulaanbaatar Economic Forum will have two parts-‘The Capital City’s Economy-Investment’ and ‘Smart city’, where ongoing and further construction works will be presented to business owners, investors and private entities.
The Governor’s Office of the Capital City discussed and adopted a sub program ‘Public and Private Partnership in the Capital City’ and ‘Regulation on Implementing Projects and Programs through Public and Private Partnership’. Investment Fund of the Capital City and Green Economic Fund have been set up as well. Therefore, businesses, private entities, foreign and domestic investors are possible to make investment in the capital city, the forum organizers noted.
President of Ulaanbaatar Chamber of Commerce Ch.Gankhuyag said that the Chamber has been operating since 2015 in directions of resolving issues faced by entities running operation in Ulaanbaatar city and attracting investors. Certain results have been made, however, there is a necessity to closely cooperate. It is crucial for citizens of the capital city to make their contribution in the construction works.”
A total of 1000 participants are expected to take part in the forum.
