“Good fence” program approved
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The “Good fence” national program and general procedure of its implementation were adopted at the cabinet meeting held Monday.
This program pursues a purpose to make living conditions for Ulaanbaatar residents of ger areas healthier and safer in a way of boosting house towns equipped with partial and centralized infrastructure system.
The Ulaanbaatar Mayor E.Bat-Uul was tasked to approve norms of constructions, and technical and technological standards for landscape furnishing and engineering infrastructure, and to control the implementation.
In the frames of the program, households will become able to receive a soft-loan of up to MNT 10 million with the five-year term, while the basic payment of loans will be completed in first two years. Up to 50% of the debt can be resolved jointly by the government and localities with help of government funds.
The program aims to help households of the target groups have own engineering infrastructure and improve the living environment for inhabitants of ger areas, and to reduce environmental pollution as well.
