GDP of Mongolia decreased by 5.3 percent in 2020
In 2020, by preliminary estimation of production approach, Gross domestic product (GDP) at current prices was MNT 37.0 trillion, which is decreased by MNT 322.3 billion (0.9%) compared to the previous year. GDP at 2010 constant prices was MNT 18.0 trillion, which is decreased by MNT 1.0 trillion (5.3%) compared to the previous year.

Coal export increases by 21.6 percent
According to the statistics of the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry, Mongolia exported 3,145.1 thousand tons of coal between January 1 to February 7, which increased by 559.5 thousand tons or 21.6 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.

Systems to trace plants, agrochemicals registration and control system in agriculture being introduced
Plant Origin tracing System and Agro-chemicals Registration and Control System have been developed by the Outcome 4/ VEGI/: Legal Framework project, funded by Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by FAO.
