177.8 million pieces of securities traded in February
In February 2021, 177.8 million pieces of securities worth of MNT 41.9 billion were traded at the national stock market, with an increase of MNT 35.7 billion (6.8 times more) and 139.5 million pieces of securities (4.6 times more) compared to the same period of previous year.

Total foreign trade turnover grows by 48.4 percent in the first two months
 In the first two months of 2021, Mongolia traded with 112 countries from all over the world, and the total trade turnover reached USD 2.3 billion, of which USD 1.3 billion were exports and USD 922.3 million were imports.

According to the preliminary results in the first two months of 2021, the total revenue of the general government budget was MNT 1.7 trillion. The equilibrated revenue of the general government budget was MNT 1.6 trillion and 94.6% of the total revenue of general government budget.

Mongolia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand A.Tumur, on behalf of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand Mr. Kalin Sarasin signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Mongolian-Thai Chamber of Commerce on March 11 in Bangkok.

Banks defer repayment of 55,676 mortgages
With a view to alleviate financial hardship posed by COVID-19 pandemic on businesses and individuals, government of Mongolia and Bank of Mongolia made decisions to make deferrals on mortgage loan repayment and their interests from April 2020 until October 2020 and then again from November 2020 to July 2021.
