Federal President and First Lady of Austria Plant Trees at Ikh Tenger Complex

Ulaanbaatar, May 27, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen is paying a State Visit to Mongolia on May 25-28, 2025.
In a symbolic expression of their shared commitment to addressing global challenges such as climate change and desertification, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and First Lady Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj, together with Federal President of the Republic of Austria Alexander Van der Bellen and First Lady Doris Schmidauer, planted trees at the “Ikh Tenger” Complex on May 27, 2025.
During their visit to the “Ikh Tenger” Complex, Federal President Van der Bellen and First Lady Schmidauer were introduced to the nomadic Mongol lifestyle and customs, attending a mini Naadam Festival featuring the “Three Manly Games,” as well as traditional Mongol music and dance performances.
