Ulaanbaatar, September 22, 2023 /MONTSAME/. According to the crop production forecast, the domestic harvest will fully satisfy wheat and potato demands of Mongolia, and over 81.3 percent of vegetable. The preliminary estimates show that 480 thousand tons of wheat, 165 thousand tons of potatoes, 165.8 thousand tons of vegetables, 64.8 thousand tons of oilseeds, 225.6 thousand tons of fodder plants, and 5 thousand tons of fruits and berries are to be harvested, reported Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry.

 

Harvest fairs are taking place in Ulaanbaatar and in the center of aimags and soums.
